Unofficial community guide. Built from advice shared in this Discord, player testing and repeated community discussions.
Balance, events and server schedules can change. Always check the current event screen and announcements before spending important resources.
Do not spread resources across every hero you unlock.
For most F2P and low-spend players, Sword Demon is the safest first Mythic investment because he provides both frontline durability and damage.
This is the most repeated early milestone. After that, strengthen the heroes supporting your main team.
A reliable team usually contains:
Do not spend selection chests, summon tickets, Golden Hammers or event currency without a target.
Campaign matters, but Arena, Endless Abyss, Co-op, Guild activities and events provide much of your long-term progress.
The biggest beginner mistake is upgrading too many heroes at once. Focus beats variety early.
A practical starting team:
Do not immediately replace a developed hero with a Level 1 Mythic. A shiny red border cannot perform miracles by itself.
Build two strong carries, keep them alive and use the remaining slots to solve the fight.
For most accounts, that means working toward:
Sword Demon + Bounty Hunter + Healer + Support + Flex
Focus on your core team first. Most early mistakes come from spreading valuable resources too widely.
This guide can be updated when balance changes or stronger community testing becomes available.
Bounty Hunter moves up to SS Tier
Due to her skill tweak from the past updates and the dmg output is on par with Sword Demon
After Sword Demon reaches Level 10, improve the rest of your main team instead of pushing only one hero forever.
This is a strong general foundation for Campaign, bosses and overall progression.
It is not necessary to level every hero equally.
Stage weaknesses and enemy mechanics still matter. Do not force the same five heroes into every fight.
Community-recommended core:
Kinetic Energy makes Barrage especially powerful. During battle, prioritise Bounty Hunter’s important skills first.
Prioritise:
Succubus is valuable because she helps the rest of the team deal more damage. Her personal damage is not the main reason to use her.
Prioritise:
Ignore damage upgrades unless no useful support option appears.
A useful general rule:
Supports usually only need their key skills. Do not spend every upgrade trying to turn them into damage dealers.
On many new servers, the first Hero Summon Event appears around Day 3, but always verify your own server schedule.
Do not assume Gem Cubes will never matter again. The event could return or be reworked.
Prioritise Sword Demon until Level 10 unless your account has a very specific need.
When several permanent unlocks are available:
Unlocking a new permanent item is usually more valuable than immediately buying several copies of one item.
If you can only choose one:
Use seasonal keys before the season resets.
Community confirmation indicates that unused seasonal keys expire rather than carrying over permanently.
Event rewards and schedules may differ between servers. Always check the reward screen before spending your tokens.
Pets have 2 different roles:
Always check both skills before choosing where to place a pet.

A strong general damage team:
If the timer is the problem, replace unnecessary defence with buffs and debuffs.
If the boss attacks random targets, Tidecaller or Skeleton Summoner can provide expendable summons.
This is a strong general team, not a universal answer. Check the boss weakness, immunities and mechanics before changing your entire account.
There is not enough consistent community evidence to declare one unbeatable team, but these are reliable starting shells.
