No UR, and nobody has career enhancement yet — it starts at Lv30. Base stats and team effects are all that is on the table.
SSS
Onmyoji carries nine effects that touch other heroes, more than any hero in the game, and makes enemies inside its circle take more damage.

Both are worth more than their stats: Pharaoh's stuns raise ally damage and attack speed, Little Healer has five team effects for an SR.

Assassins have to reach the back line, and this early they die on the way. The R band sits here too — it is the only band with no Additional Blessing at all.

SP is reachable and this list assumes exactly one of it: the banner guarantees an SP at 101 pulls, which a saving player reaches, but not four times over. Around it sits an SSR core — career enhancement has landed, so SSR reads 326 effective ATK against SR's 139.

The one SP to pity for. With a single deep unit an amplifier beats a carry: doubling the damage a charmed enemy takes multiplies four SSRs, where Sword Demon would only multiply itself.

Onmyoji is the largest multiplier an F2P reaches without pity. Sword Demon and Flower Spirit are the other SP worth stopping at if the banner hands you one.

480 ATK and 7,200 HP against an SP's 360 and 5,400, with a complete kit. They also buff each other — field one without the other and you leave that behind.

Healing is worthless while nothing survives long enough to need it.

Full build. SP overtakes UR on damage (504 to 480), UR keeps a third more health, and the heroes who multiply the other four move above the ones who only hit hard.

Succubus is the strongest amplifier in the game — a charmed enemy takes an extra full multiple of damage, from all five heroes at once.

Onmyoji buffs allies and weakens enemies in one field. Goddess of Wisdom is the only hero who taunts, shares ally damage and marks every enemy at battle start.

Dragon Warrior shares 30% of the damage taken by up to three allies and shields the team — a tank counted as an attacker reads far too low.

Why these five, and not the five highest-ranked
Five heroes fill three roles, and two of them multiply. A carry turns stats into damage. An amplifier makes enemies take more damage from everyone — Succubus doubles it on a charmed target, Pharaoh and Onmyoji and Pain Sorceress each add their own layer. A sustainer keeps the team standing. A fifth carry adds only its own damage; one amplifier multiplies the other four, which is why a stat ranking reads the wrong order for boss fights.
How every lineup below is built
Five heroes make two class pairs — a bond needs two of a class — plus one flex. Anchor pair to survive, exploit pair for the class the enemy is weak to. The two Assist pets should carry those same two affinities: an Assist pet whose class you do not field spends half its passive on nobody.
Story / Adventure
Trash dies before an amplifier finishes speaking, so raw carries are right here — the one place they are. The lineup rotates: each chapter group is weak to a different class, so swap the exploit pair and keep the anchor.

Arena (PvP)
Battle-start effects decide it before stats speak, and this is the cleanest amplifier stack in the game: charm doubles the damage a target takes, stun adds another layer, and two Calamity carries harvest both. Whether class resistance applies to player heroes the way it does to monsters is not something the dump answers.

Archaeology · Alien Invasion · Star-Level Challenge · Expedition Squad · AFK — the dump carries no resistance profile for these, so naming a lineup would be a guess wearing data's clothes. Bring your Story lineup; none of them ask for a different shape.
